MOA Globe incident appears to be a publicity stunt for comedy film 'Red Notice'

Following the SM Mall of Asia Globe incident which become a trending topic on social media, Netflix Philippines posted a short video revealing the missing iconic MOA Globe is back. Some part of the scene in the video is a teaser from the movie "Red Notice" which featured Dwayne Johnson, Gal Gadot, and Ryan Reynolds.

"You may or may not have missed the biggest con while you were sleeping. I know who did it, and the Red Notice is out for them," Netflix wrote in the caption.

This was also supported by another public notice posted on SM Mall of Asia Facebook page, confirming the safe return of the iconic globe.

"Thank you for your concern regarding the MOA Globe incident. We would like to confirm that it has been safely returned this morning," the post read.

"To ensure its safety moving forward, we will temporarily put the area under "Red Notice."

On Sunday, after the early morning drama where the mall administration issued a statement saying it is currently working with authorities following reports on social media about the stolen globe in MOA, now the place was seen surrounded with scaffoldings and covered with what seems to be a plywood. A sign that the globe is still on the site and under maintenance.

Meanwhile, IKEA Philippines also issued statement after "Tito Ball" has been receiving accusations linking to the Globe incident.

"We have been receiving allegations and accusations about the MOA Globe incident.

"Tito Ball was last seen in the vicinity of the MOA Globe last November 11, 2021.

"He is innocent until proven guilty. We ask for the public to wait for the results of the investigation before asking him to #BringMOAGlobeBack."
