'Spider-Man: No Way Home' Sparked Online Petition #DontDelayNoWayHomePH

While the rest of the world are expecting the 'Spider- Man: No Way Home' movie to hit the theaters on December 17, Columbia Pictures Philippines announced that some of their movies will be a little bit delayed screening in the Philippines.

But the Filipino fans are buzzing the hype on Twitter as they are not happy about the news. They urged to equally released the movie in cinemas the same time as the rest of the world. The online petition will hopefully change cinemas release date to December.

Here's a Change.org petition which currently earned over 23K as of the press time.

"See, with the IMPLICATIONS of this film being SO BIG (in terms of the overall effect of this film in the MCU), if you are to release this film, here in the Philippines, in January of 2022, there will ALREADY BE PLENTY OF SPOILERS, on the internet.

"AND, THAT WILL DEFINITELY RUIN THE EXPERIENCE FOR US, especially because, as already mentioned, the IMPLICATIONS OF THIS FILM IS HUGE. This is NOT 'just' a standalone film.

"So, PLEASE, RELEASE THIS FILM, ON DECEMBER 17, here in the Philippines.

"Delay ALL OTHER FILMS for all we care, just NOT Spiderman No Way Home.

"I really hope this reaches the powers that be.

"Thank you very much!" The petitioner wrote.

Other Spider Man fans also took to Twitter to share their sentiments as they plead:
