Luis Manzano is a proud son for his father Edu Manzano, as he comes to falling head-over-heels in love with actress Cherry Pie Picache.
During a recent interview with G3 San Diego to the celebrity couple Luis with his wife Jessy Mendiola, they said they were caught off guard upon learning the news that his dad is romantically in relationship with Cherry Pie.
Luis said that he found out about Edu and Cherry Pie's relationship from a friend who send him a photo of the couple in one of their date nights. Then he teased his dad by sending a picture and asked, "Oy, Daddy, ano ka, happy boy ka?" And Edu replied, "Yes anak, happing-happy."
"We were caught off guard. Ang galing lang," continued Luis, as he remembered his first teleserye Kampanerang Kuba in 2005, when Cherry Pie played his stepmom in the series!
"Talagang no one saw it coming. I don't even think dad and Tita Pie saw it coming," he said.
"Feeling ko nga eh kung nagkataon lang na, let's say by next year, kunwari lang, we're hoping and praying na maibalik and prangkisa ng ABS, feeling ko baka si daddy tsaka si Tita Pie baka itapat sa KathNiel," he jest.
