MAYOR SARA DUTERTE DEPLOYS HUNDREDS OF VOLUNTEERS TO BOHOL TO HELP WITH ODETTE DEVASTATION

 Over a hundred volunteers from Davao composed of doctors, social workers, and rescue personnel have been deployed to communities devastated by super typhoon Odette in Bohol.





The team has landed at the Bohol-Panglao International Airport on Sunday, December 19. The team was immediately deployed to the towns of the 2nd District of Bohol which suffered most of the disaster of the storm.




"Hon. Amira Alia Montero-Caindec, Panglao-Sangguniang Bayan Member, welcomed them and exchanged notes with the rescue team.



"Hon. Aris Aumentado, Representative of the 2nd Congressional District of Bohol, with his wife Vanessa, also joined Hon. Montero-Caindec in welcoming the team.




"Hon. Fernando B. Estavilla, Mayor of the Municipality President Carlos P. Garcia, accompanied the 2nd District Congressman," Municipality of Panglao Facebook post read.






 Meanwhile, Inday Sara announced on her Facebook page that the City of Davao also sent about 55 tons of supplies for Cebu.
