The Department of Health (DOH) confirmed the fourth case of the Omicron COVID-19 variant in the Philippines.
According to Health Undersecretary Maria Rosario Vergeire on Monday, the forth case of the Omicron variant is from the 38-year-old traveler from the United States who arrived at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport 9NAIA) on December 10, via Philippine Airlines flight PR 127.
The patient was released from the quarantine facility on December 24, and is currently undergoing home isolation.
