TYPHOON ODETTE: MAN PLAYS PIANO IN FLOODED HOME IN CAGAYAN DE ORO

 This man in Cagayan De Oro was able to find comfort in a piano amid the disastrous flood-waters brought by super typhoon Odette.



Niel Jon Salcedo took to social media and shared a video of himself while playing his more than 20-year-old piano in a living room filled with knee-high-deep flood waters from super typhoon Odette which has the international name 'Rai'.




Salcedo, who filmed the clip by himself, posted the tear-jerker video to his Facebook account Thursday which quickly gone viral.  




"My 20+ year old piano. Probably my last time playing this piano before it gets junked. Effect kaayo ang baha ug ulan sa background. Bagyong Odette please stop na," he wrote in a caption to the video.



He played "River Flows In You" by Yiruma.




Hundreds of families in Cagayan de Oro was evacuated to safer grounds on Thursday morning, December 16. Several roads and other parts of the highways that links the Cagayan and nearby cities are not passable.
