A murder charges awaits to 8 suspects in Claire Diergos slay case, the 36-year-old businesswoman and a single mother in Iloilo City that was seen lifeless inside her sports utility vehicle on October 26, 2021.
A criminal murder complaint was filed before the Iloilo Provincial Prosecutors office on Wednesday, January 5.
Investigators found that Diergos was killed in her house at Deca Homes subdivision when she left dead inside her car in Barangay Inangayan, Santa Barbara, Iloilo.
Though the authorities limits some information about the motives, earlier it says that robbery, unpaid debts, and business rivalry were not likely the cause of her death.
Among the eight suspects are two females and the two remain unknown.
"We are not releasing the names. It will be up to the prosecutors if the names will be released," Gorero told Manila Bulletin.
Other identified suspects including a mastermind was a members of the same family.
There are 10 witnesses who offered circumstantial testimonies. A closed-circuit footage showed Diergos' SUV leaving Deca Homes at 4:20 a.m. on October 25. Police believed Diergos knew her killer.
A P500,000 bounty is being offered to credible witnesses to solve the case.
