Actor Enchong Dee might be released for his temporary liberty after he posted bail on Monday, according to reports. The actor has voluntarily surrendered to the NBI in Quezon City this afternoon after the court ordered his arrest.
However, due to his late appearance he might be detained at the NBI because there's no court that could process for his temporary released.
It can be recalled that Dee has tweeted last August 14, 2021 about a lavish peony-filled ceremony in Balesin amid the soaring pandemic cases in the country. But he later apologize, "I have been reckless in the tweet I posted and i take full responsibility for my lapse in judgement," he said.
A 1-billion libel complaint was filed before the Davao Occidental Regional Trial Court by DUMPER Representative Claudine Bautista-Lim in August 2021.
