This newly wed couple's dog named Ajhin has taken his job as man's best friend to a whole new level, saving his owner from their burning house in Parañaque City .
Unfortunately the male owner, Ronnie Madredeo, died from 3rd degree burn when an LPG tank exploded and started a fire in the first level of the house.
It was last December 18, 2021 when the incident happened. According to wife Roanne Madredeo, his husband was preparing their breakfast when a sudden explosion was heard in the kitchen. She was supposed to check the loud bang when her husband appeared in front of her badly injured.
"Pag open ko ng pinto para tingnan ang nagyare bumungad po sa akin 'yung husband ko and he was already burned pero nagawa niya pa din umakyat to check on me, kung okay lang ako," she told The Philippine Star.

"Ang sanabi nya po sa akin habang nakahawak sa pisngi ko 'Beb, okay na ako. Kahit anong mangyari, masaya ako," she recalled the last time her husband told her while fighting for his life.
Meanwhile, Ajhin, the dog followed her husband upstairs to find another exit point since the first floor was burning fiercely.
Ajhin used her nose as he tried to open a sliding door, fortunately someone from their neighbor came in to the rescue and helped them escape from the burning house.
Ronnie's sister said: "Tinutulungan ni Ajhin si Roan na buksan ang sliding door kahit sobrang init na nito para makahanap sila ng point of exit since nasusunog pa ang baba ng bahay. Kaya severely injured ang ilong ni Ajhin ginagamit nya ito para buksan ang sliding door. Until may kapitbahay ng tumulong at binasag ang sliding door sa taas. Nung nailabas na ang mag asawa mula sa bintana sa taas, naiwan pa sa taas si Ajhin at nakatago sa suksok dahil sa trauma. Inantay nya lang cguro makalabas mga amo nya. Sobrang dami nyang nalanghap na usok bago sya nalabas ng bahay."
Ajhin's nose was severely damaged and badly needed for treatment.
