A Filipino artist and a Michael Jordan fan has received a treat from the basketball legend that every fan wanted too!
Christian Oliver Talampas artwork which depict "The Last Shot" of Jordan's iconic title-clincher in the 1998 NBA Finals recently caught the attention of Chicago Bulls star player.

Speaking to the GMA7 "24 Oras," Talampas said that he first posted his artwork on video sharing site TikTok in July 2021 asking netizens to help his artwork reach to his idol. His wished granted for not stopping on sharing his piece online when a collector from the US, Bryan Apodaca saw it. The known collector made a coordination with Jordan's camp, and recently Talampa shared the good news as his wish came to reality.
“Hiningi ni Michael Jordan 'yung original artwork ko dahil nagustuhan. Agad-agad pinadala ko agad talaga,” Christian told GMA News.
To his surprised, Jordan returned the artwork to him with his precious autograph. He even posted a photo of Jordan signing the piece on his Instagram account @_cortart.

Talampas, who is a pen and charcoal artist spent over 620 hours in a span of 72 days to finish with 10-hours being the longest time just to finish the piece.
"I wanted to be like Mike! and that dream became a Goal. Since then I'm on pursuit of having even small connection with him," he said
"I Finally MADE IT!! Damn I'm so proud of myself that I did not stopped pursuing mg Dream," he added.
His artwork has caught social media attention, notably renowned trainer Tim Grover, who has worked with Jordan and some of the finest basketball players such as Dwyane Wade and the late Kobe Bryant.
Talampas, also received a shirt and signed playing cards that Jordan himself used.
