SEVERAL STAFF AND PATRONS OF A BAR IN MAKATI TEST POSITIVE AFTER POBLACION GIRL VISIT

 This bar in Makati was forced to temporarily stop its operation after staff members and patrons are tested positive of COVID-19. 



In a Facebook post, Kampai expressed disappointment and 'seeks swift probe on quarantine protocol breach' of a returning Filipino from the United States.




Added that "staff and a number of its patrons tested positive for COVID-19 because of the breach," the statement read.



Kampai management recalled that a "female guest visited their bar on December 23 from 10PM and stayed till about 1AM the following day."

"It is unfortunate that this transpired in our premises, and has resulted in compromising the health and safety of our customers and our staff. A number of our patrons and staff contracted the virus and are now in quarantine because of the situation.



"Before she was allowed entry, she showed proof of vaccination, filled out a health declaration form, and had her temperature taken. She was allowed to come in since the group she was with had a reservation with us. We had absolutely no idea that she came from abroad and was supposed to be absolutely strict isolation in an approved quarantine facility," Kampai said.
