Miss Universe Philippines 2021 Beatrice Luigi Gomez has break her silence over the issue with her past relationship after receiving some hate comments from social media folks.
In a lengthy post on her Instagram stories, Beatrice narrated her side of story to denounce fake news circulating against her.
According to her she already decided to stay quite but "doubts, fears, and trust issues began to grow as I continued to see people hiding behind fake accounts attacking me and harassing me.
"It was honestly taking its toll on my mental health. It was affecting my family and friends and yet I continued to keep quiet. I didn't want anyone to get hurt by telling it all. until the night want anyone to get hurt by telling it all.
"Until the night before the Miss Universe finals I continued to receive messages from her followers, friends, and family about how they wished I'd lose because I made her life miserable when I decided to break up with her," said Beatrice.
Without naming a person, she said that while she was on her "way to the MUPH competition, after a series of confrontations I learned that she had already been entertaining a person named "Adam" for over a year during our relationship."
"She's made out with someone, made a move on other girls, and have been going out more often than usual that there were even times she wouldn't come home for days," she added.
In her Instagram account, Beatrice posted a photo of her and new boyfriend John Odin celebrating Valentine's Day in a hotel in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig City.
