A Davao police officer prevented a despondent man from jumping off Bolton bridge in Davao City, February 14, a dramatic incident that was recorded on one of the officer.
It can be seen on the video the man standing on the edge of the bridge concrete railing when an officer rushed behind, grabbed him and pulled him back.
It is believed that the man suffered from depression as a note from him was recovered.
"Salamat sa sakripisyo nimo ga, I love you... mwaaah. Miss you kids I love you so much," the note read.

"Kaagad namang nailigtas ang lalaki ng mga rumespondeng otoridad at nakuha mismo sa lalaki ang kanyang suicide note bago sana ito tumalon.
