Manny Pacquiao's eldest son Jimuel has won his first amateur boxing bout in the U.S. against Mexican-American Andres Rosales on Sunday at the House of Boxing Gym in San Diego, California.
Manny Pacquiao on his Facebook account congratulated his son Jimuel as a proud father. Jimuel showed significant improvements in his desire to follow the footstep of his father. He competed at junior welterweight.
"Congratulations to my son Jimuel Pacquiao on fighting and winning his first U.S. amateur fight at junior welterweight! I’m so proud of you.," Manny wrote.
Jimuel got his boxing license in December but has participated in unsanctioned bouts in the Philippines.
The 21-year-old has been in the USA fro months to prepare for his upcoming fight under the tutelage of Marvin Somodio at the famed Wild Card Boxing Gym.
