Andrea Brillantes who's publicly known as 'Kakampink' revealed that she is trying to convince her basketball star boyfriend Ricci Rivero to join her with her political stand for the upcoming May 2022 election.
The actress is working pretty hard to convert her boyfriend despite of their opposing political views.
In one of her ambush interview, the 19-year-old actress and first time voter openly answered some of the few questions after her appearance on VP Leni Robredo's birthday rally in April 23.
In an interview, she was ask if she is convencing her known BBM supporter boyfriend.
"I am trying, 'wag kayong mag-alala. I'm trying like ilang months na," said Andrea.
"He supports me supporting Leni (Robredo) at sobrang na-appreciate ko na 'yun," she added.
It seems Andrea could specifically inspired new voter with her convincing power as she is hopeful that she can change Ricci to support Leni-Kiko tandem.
"Lagi niyang sinasabi, I'll support you, supporting Leni. Sabi ko, in the future tatanggalin mo yung 'you.' Sasabihin mo nang I support Leni," sabi ni Andrea.
"yan ang aking goal pero nirerespeto ko siya kasi nirerespeto niya rin ako. 'Yun naman yung importante. Kahit magkaiba kami ng paniniwala at gusto pero may respeto pa rin kami sa isa't isa, pero I'm trying pa rin."
