If you felt like tearing up after having seen Kris Aquino's Instagram post where she admitted that her condition is very serious now, well, she inspired us to stay strong as she showed to us how she fight her illness.
Aquino who's seen in her wheelchair gave an update about her health condition, saying she is scheduled to leave the Philippines this week. She also denied rumors that she has been confined in the ICU, but revealed that her illness is now "life-threatening."
"Mula end of April, we found out life threatening na yung illness ko," her caption to her post read.
"Yung chismis na na-confine ako, na nasa ICU, na nag-aagaw buhay, masyado kayong advance. Para klaro ang lahat and dahil gusto niyong patayin na ako - well, I am not yet dead. I am going to fight to stay alive," she said in the video.
Kris revealed that she has now three confirmed autoimmune conditions which are chronic spontaneous urticaria, autoimmune thyroiditis and vasculitis - describing her veins are "collapsing and useless" due to vasculitis.
Her doctors are worried about her organ damage in her heart and lungs.
Her condition was confirmed after her 3rd skin biopsy which was read by a pathologist in the US.
“Yung gamot that God willing can help save me doesn’t have FDA approval here or in Singapore and isasabay na po mag infuse ng chemotherapy as my immunosuppressant. Why? Allergic po ako sa lahat ng steroids,” she said.
Kris also showed the stitches she has on her arm. She asked haters to keep their hurtful comments to themselves, not for her but for her children.
