A Cebuana LET topnotcher for elementary level who graduated from Cebu Technological University (CTU) Carmen Campus has an interesting story to tell that inspire social media folks.
Maricris Colipano, 26, is a first placer in the March 2022 teachers board exam which was released on April 29, 2022.
In an interview with Cebu Daily News, Colipano says she wanted to work as volunteer teacher so she could help children who are not interested in school. She admitted that she already received job offers from her school and the review center where she enrolled.
What is interesting to Colipano's success story is her determination to achieve her goal despite the difficulties in life.
Her father is a farmer, while her mother is a Barangay Health Worker. After she finished high school, she worked first as babysitter and worked in a company in Danao City at the age of 18.
She enrolled in college when she was 19 in 2016, where she graduated cum laude in 2019.
Before taking the Licensure Examination for Teacher (LET), she only participated in online coaching at her review center, read a lot of reviewers and watch some of online coaching on YouTube.
She said that she only knew about being the topnotcher of the LET exam through her younger sister.
