FERDINAND "BONGBONG" MARCOS JR. INAUGURATED AS 17TH PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES

 The inauguration of Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr. as the 17th president of the Philippines took placed in the National Museum of Fine Arts, June 30, 2022, in the city of Manila.

Prior to his oath-taking, President-elect Ferdinand "BongBong" marcos Jr. paid a courtesy call to outgoing President Rodrigo Duterte in Malacañang.

The incoming president is set to take his oath before Chief Justice Alexander Gesmundo. Marcos Jr., 64, earned a landslide victory in the May 9 elections with over 31 million votes.

Vice President-elect Sara Duterte-Carpio, Imelda Marcos, former president Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo and Joseph Estrada were also present at the venue.

Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr, wife Liza Araneta-Marcos and their children arrived at the National Museum.
