A primary suspect to the death of the 15-year-old Princess Marie Dumantay has been arrested in Camarines Sur.
The suspect identified as Gaspar Maneja Jr. was arrested in a follow-up operation of Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) in Camarines Sur. He was arrested based on an arrest warrant for rape and violation of Republic Act 7610 or the anti-child abuse law.
According to authorities, to hide his identity Maneja was able to use alternative name to Jose Francisco Santos.
The body on Dumantay was found on a grassy roadside in Bustos, Bulacan, on August 12.
Several bruises, cigarette burns, and strangulation marks were observed in the victim's body.
