Blackpink made another unforgettable performance at the Video Music Awards 2022. They looked so very cool in their outfit as they performed on stage their latest single "Pink Venom" held in New Jersey, United States. The MTV Video Music Awards 2022 were attended by several major artists from the music industry.
Lisa Manoban is the first female K-pop artist to win the Best K-Pop category for her hit solo single "Lalisa."
When Lisa's name was called, the crowd cheered and she became speechless. During her acceptance speech, she thanked producer Teddy, YG Entertainment, and BLINKS.
As Lisa moved up to the podium to receive the top award, it was a delight to see not only her bandmates cheering for her but also Taylor Swift. Netizens have been seen over a clip from the ceremony where Taylor Swift is seen standing up to celebrate Lisa's win and can also be seen encouraging others to stand up and applaud Lisa's big achievement.
"First of all, I want to thank MTV for this wonderful honor. I want to thank all my collaborators in my solo project... Blinks, I mean you're the most important ones. Thank you for making this happen." Lisa addressed the fandom of Blackpink.
She also thanked and acknowledged her bandmates, Jennie, Jisoo, and Rosé in Korean during her acceptance speech.
In addition to this, BLACKPINK also won the award for 'Best Metaverse Performance' for their PUBG collaboration Ready For Love.
The MTV Video Music Awards is an award show presented by the cable channel MTV to award the best in the music video medium for various categories.
