"Expensive Candy" star Julia Barretto has opened up about her relationship with here estranged father Dennis Padilla as seen in an interview with veteran journalist Karen Davila.
It appears that the actress was open to forgive his father in the future but not ready anytime soon. She revealed that her decision to distance with her dad wasn't only about their recent feud but because she's tired and afraid of "getting hurt" again.
Julia's powerful message to her dad has reached to Dennis Padilla's attention. The comedian took to his Instagram and shared several posts about his reactions to the interview. He even demand to Karen to better interview him to share his other side of story.
"You better interview ME... para di one sided.... Wag ganun!!!" said Dennis tagging Karen Davila along his childhood photo.
"Julia.... Since you were born... Ako ang provider... What are you talking about????? Nung mag artista ka sa kokey... Hiwalay na kmi.... You make me look useless... Sobra ka naman... Karen... You need to interview me para klaro...." he added.
On separate Instagram post Dennis said: "Ako ang dapat takbuhan mo julia.... I defended you pero nagalit pa kayo sa akin... Sobra kayo.... Ano etong mga kwento mo kay karen??"
Julia on her interview with Karen said: "I just need more love. More protection. I just feel like he has to be my number one protector and that's not what I'm getting. It hurt. It's sad."
On his last Instagram post, it appears that Dennis might be granted to give his story after Karen Davila responded to the comments section of his post.
