BOSTON BILLIONAIRE ROB HALE IS GIVING AWAY $1-MILLION A WEEK FOR A WHOLE YEAR FOR CHARITIES

 A Boston based businessman and billionaire has decided to give back a million dollars a week, and he will be doing this for the entire year.



Rob Hale has  committed to give his money to 52 local organizations.



"when you give, in many ways what we've learned is that you're really the recipient, so the joy that comes from sharing is immeasurable and it's intoxicating ," he said.




Hale, who made the Forbes list of billionaires this year is the president of granite Telecommunications in Quincy, Massachusetts.



But what he achieved right now hasn't always been easy, "I had run another company. So that business went into bankruptcy," he said.



"That day I had death threats, lawsuits, I had to let go 400 teammates on a conference call," he added.



Now that he recover, he waste no time to give back. He fulfill his promise by donating tens of millions of dollars over the years to various charities.



"Our successes are because of the community, and we believe that we should do everything we can to return those good fortunes to the community," he said.



Rob is also an owner and Director of the 17-time World Champion Boston Celtics of the National Basketball Association and the owner of the Boston Cannons of Major League Lacrosse.
