"WE'RE NOT DEAD"-CARTOON NETWORK CLARIFIES THE ISSUE OF SHUTTING DOWN

The news spread that the famous American television channel Cartoon Network will shut down has been the talk of social media lately. 



Many viewers and followers were saddened to read the news. 




Cartoon Network aired popular shows such as Johny Bravo, Powerpuff Girls, The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy, Dexter's Laboratory, Codename: Kid Next Door, and Ed Edd n Eddy. 




Due to the sad news, people thought that the network will shut down forever. "RIP Cartoon Network" was even trending online as the shows became part of their childhood days. 


But, the cartoon network itself made it clear and responded to rumors of being shut down.


"Y'all we're not dead, we're just turning 30," the Cartoon Network posted on their official Twitter account.



"To our fans: We're not going anywhere. We have been and will always be your home for beloved, innovative cartoons...more to come soon, " they added in their post.



The official account also shared a funny tweet, "When the internet says you're dead but you're sitting likeπŸ‘️πŸ‘„πŸ‘️

 

The Cartoon Network channel is not shutting down. The animation studio that is owned by Warner Bros. Television Studios is being merged with Warner Bros. Animation. The said studio is the production arm of Cartoon Network and it produces animated programming for the channel. 



On October 11, 2022, the announcement has been made that Cartoon Network will remain as is only that their development and production team will now merge with Warner Bro.s studio.
