Actor and It's showtime host, Vhong Navarro has been transferred to Taguig City Jail today, November 21, 2022.
VHONG NAVARRO SURRENDERS TO NBI AFTER TAGUIG COURT ISSUED ARREST WARRANT
In the earlier statement released by Vhong's lawyer, they clarified that his transfer to Taguig had nothing to do with the bail petition he filed. This according to the commitment order issued by the Taguig Regional Trial Court Branch 69.
In the statement of Vhong's lawyer, Atty Maggie Garduque, the court assured that the Taguig City Jail facility is safe before the transfer of the actor.
Just last September 19, the actor surrendered at the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) after the second warrant of arrest was filed by Deniece Cornejo for the rape case.

"After completing all the required health protocols, actor Vhong Navarro has been transferred to the BJMP in Taguig City at about 4 o' clock this afternoon," said the National Bureau of Investigation.
VHONG NAVARRO VOLUNTARILY SURRENDERS TO THE NBI
Navarro was detained at the NBI facility for two months in relation to r*pe cases filed against him by Deniece Cornejo.
He had filed a motion to remain at the NBIdetention center, citing fears for his saftey. However, Taguig Court denied Navarro's motion.
