Real life Kapamilya love team Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla also known as KathNiel was among the top celebrity taxpayers in 2022, according to the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR).
Joining them is 'Ang Probinsyano' actor and producer, Coco Martin.
"Maraming, maraming salamat sa award na ito," said Padilla.
"Maraming, maraming salamat sa dami naming binayaran na tax," he added in jest.
Bernardo, meanwhile, thanked BIR for the award as she reminded fellow Filipinos to pay their taxes.
"Malaking bagay ito sa amin and hopefully this will inspire everybody to do our responsibility bilang Pilipino na magbayad ng tax," Bernardo said.
Other celebrities who was recognized by the agency are Liza Soberano, Judy Ann Santos, Vic Sotto, Willie Revillame, Michael V., Sarah Geronimo, Anne Curtis, and Maja Salvador.
