Tending to her supporters, she said, "Okay, I'm going to answer this because I get this a lot. Yes, he does."
She proceeded, "When he asked me, how much does Elias need, I provided him with a breakdown of his essential necessities, simply his fundamental requirements, and that is 10,000 pesos max.
"But he insisted on doubling it."
Ellen recognizes that John Lloyd is equipped for giving more to their child, yet she decides not to ask him for anything past what their child needs.
She made sense of, "I know he's more than equipped for giving more than that, yet I let him know I can't acknowledge anything over PHP20,000, and that is all there is to it.
"I also have, because we are co-parenting, I have my obligations and responsibilities for Elias, so it's just fair.
"So, there. Anything more than PHP20,000 for me is just not right, morally not right, because he's not schooling yet.
"He hasn't started school, so that's just basic needs."
