Actress Isabelle Daza has launched a fund-raising drive to help out a domestic helper Elvie Vergara.
Vergara was partially blind after she was allegedly abused by her employers since 2020.
The actress said, she's raising funds for Vergara to help her from her daily lives free from the abuse without worrying her daily food to eat.
Daza has initially raise P300,000 for Vergara via crowdfunding website which run until Friday, October 6.
"To all those who donated, its only been 2 days but you guys have really opened your hearts and more importantly wallets. 💕 salamat! And i havent even pressured my influencer friends to post or donate," she wrote on Instagram.
She even expressed gratitude to her showbiz and influencer friends for supporting and helping her cause.
As of this posting, September 9, Daza has exceeded her target amount which already raised more than P700,000.
"This is insane... You guys wow," Isabelle said on her Instagram story.
Daza assured that she will personally hand the donations to Vergara.
Vergara alleged that her employers has physically, mentally and verbally abused her since 2020.
