Jane de Leon may have on-screen chemistry with some of her co-stars, but off-screen, the actress-model has found love with someone outside the limelight.
During a press conference for the movie "Shake Rattle & Roll Extreme," De Leon opened up about her current relationship with an older, non-showbiz boyfriend.
"I'm dating someone who's not in the entertainment industry," she revealed. When asked if her boyfriend was indeed a male, she jokingly replied, "Secret," before confirming, "Yes, he's a guy."
The 24-year-old actress explained that her boyfriend was initially a friend before their relationship blossomed. "There's a 5-7 year age gap between us. My previous boyfriends were also older. My mom always advises me to date someone older because women tend to mature faster than men," she shared.
De Leon further elaborated that dating someone younger could be challenging, so she prefers someone with more maturity than her.
