LCCB Triumphs at 8th VMC Interschool Art Competition

 Bacolod City, Philippines – November 25, 2023 – La Consolacion College Bacolod (LCCB) celebrated a remarkable victory at the 8th Victorias Milling Company (VMC) Interschool Art On-the-Spot Painting Contest, held at the Acacia Convention Center.

 

 Three talented senior high school students from LCCB dominated the competition, showcasing their exceptional artistic skills and creativity.

Jhodie Salomon, a multimedia associate editor from Grade 12 – St. Benedict, captivated the judges with her stunning painting, earning her the coveted championship title. Erin Dosayla, a skilled artist from Grade 12 – St. Cecilia, impressed the judges with her artistry, securing the 2nd Runner-Up position. Adding to LCCB's triumph, Bear Jay Bermeo from Grade 11 – St. Bernward demonstrated remarkable talent, clinching the 4th place position.

The success extended beyond the top placements, as St. Cecilia students Audrey Kaye Sarsona and Roshan Langreo, along with Ricardo Regalia III from St. Benedict, emerged as finalists in the competition. Their achievements further solidified LCCB's strong presence in the artistic arena.


The driving force behind this impressive victory lies in the dedicated mentorship of Coach Mary Nelyn Delfin Guilaran, the A&D Track Chairperson. Her unwavering guidance and support played a pivotal role in nurturing the talents of these aspiring artists, enabling them to reach their full potential and shine on the competitive stage.

LCCB extends its heartfelt congratulations to Jhodie Salomon, Erin Dosayla, Bear Jay Bermeo, Audrey Kaye Sarsona, Roshan Langreo, Ricardo Regalia III, and Coach Mary Nelyn Delfin Guilaran for bringing immense pride and honor to the institution.
