Milwaukee Bucks Advance to Knockout Rounds of NBA In-Season Tournament

 Giannis Antetokounmpo led the Milwaukee Bucks with 33 points and Damian Lillard added 32 points as the Bucks defeated the Miami Heat 131-124 to secure the top seed in the Eastern Conference and advance to the knockout rounds of the NBA In-Season Tournament.



The Bucks finished group play undefeated at 4-0, while Miami, which was without Jimmy Butler and Tyler Herro due to ankle sprains, finished 2-2 and missed out on a playoff spot.

Boston also advanced to the knockout rounds with a 124-97 win over Chicago. Jaylen Brown led the Celtics with 30 points, eight rebounds, and six assists. Jayson Tatum added 21 points and Al Horford had 16 points, nine rebounds, and six assists.



The New York Knicks also advanced as a wildcard team based on superior point differential over Cleveland. The Knicks defeated Charlotte 115-91, led by 25 points and 20 rebounds from Julius Randle and 23 points off the bench from Immanuel Quickley.



In the Western Conference, the Phoenix Suns clinched a wildcard spot when Minnesota beat Oklahoma City 106-103. Anthony Edwards led the Timberwolves with 21 points while Rudy Gobert added 17 points and 16 rebounds.



The NBA In-Season Tournament knockout rounds will begin next week, with the semifinals and finals taking place in Las Vegas next month.
