"I hope we can have a baby in 2024 or in the future. God willing," Matteo shared. He acknowledged that they have been planning to have a child for some time now.
"My family is my priority, so having a baby is definitely part of the plan. But we also understand that we can't force things. It's up to God to give us this blessing," Matteo explained. "So, we're just praying for the best and doing what we need to do."
Matteo first expressed his desire to become a father in May 2023, saying that he's been ready for a long time. "I've been ready for a while now," he stated.
"God willing, after Sarah has accomplished all her goals and I've fulfilled my commitments with GMA Network, hopefully, by the end of the year, we'll be able to start a family," he added.
Sarah and Matteo confirmed their relationship in 2014 after being spotted together multiple times. They first worked together in 2011 on the film Catch Me… I'm In Love, where they starred alongside Gerald Anderson.
They announced their engagement in 2019 and tied the knot in an intimate ceremony a year later.
In October 2023, the couple launched their own studio, G Studios, a space for celebrities, artists, content creators, agencies, and their clients to "express their creativity and vision and foster collaboration." It caters to all advertising, media, and event needs with its video-photo production studio and well-lit kitchen studio.
