Jimmy Bondoc Embarks on a New Chapter as a Bar Exam Passer

 In a remarkable turn of events, OPM singer Jimmy Bondoc has successfully passed the 2023 Bar examinations, adding another feather to his already impressive cap. This achievement marks a significant milestone in the life of the multi-talented artist, who has always harbored a deep-seated aspiration to pursue a career in law.



Back in 2017, Jimmy, whose real name is James Patrick Romero Bondoc, made headlines when he enrolled at the San Beda College of Law at the age of 42. This decision to embark on a new path was driven by a lifelong dream to become a lawyer, a passion that burned brightly within him.



"Choosing to pursue law is truly a lifelong dream. Aside from that, I also believe it's a way for me to better serve in administration," Jimmy shared in a previous interview.




Before embarking on his legal journey, Jimmy had already established himself as a prominent figure in the entertainment industry. His soulful vocals and captivating songwriting skills had earned him a dedicated following, with his hit song "Let Me Be The One" becoming an iconic OPM classic.



Beyond his musical prowess, Jimmy also demonstrated his commitment to public service, serving as the vice president for corporate social responsibility of the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR) and later being appointed as a member of the board of directors in 2021.


His unwavering support for former president Rodrigo Duterte further solidified his reputation as a man of conviction and dedication to his country.
