Xiaomi Electrifies the Road with SU7, its First Electric Vehicle

At its "Stride" event, Xiaomi made a grand entrance into the electric vehicle (EV) scene with the SU7, available in standard and Max variants. The sleek SU7 Max steals the show with its Aqua Blue or Mineral Gray silhouette, rolling on Michelin-clad five-spoke alloys.

This electric beast boasts a blistering 2.78-second 0-100km/h acceleration and a top speed of 265km/h, leaving the Tesla Model S in its dust (3 seconds to 100km/h and 250km/h top speed).

But the SU7 Max is more than just speed. Xiaomi's new HyperOS operating system creates a seamless "Human x Car x Home" ecosystem, as CEO Lei Jun pointed out. And let's not forget the Xiaomi Pilot, a fully self-developed autonomous driving system armed with HD cameras, Lidar, radars, and high-performance computing.

The SU7 comes in three stunning colorways: Aqua Blue inspired by the deep ocean, Mineral Gray echoing ancient rock formations, and Verdant Green with a mesmerizing golden shimmer.

Packing a 101kWh battery with innovative Cell-to-Body (CTB) technology, the SU7 offers an impressive 800km range on a single charge. Need a quick boost? Just 5 minutes gives you 220km, and 15 minutes fuels you up for 510km.

Xiaomi's own HyperEngine electric motors, the V6 and V6s, are already in mass production, reaching up to 21,000rpm. Get ready for the even faster HyperEngine V8s, hitting the road by 2025 with a jaw-dropping 27,200rpm!

While pricing and availability remain under wraps for now, expect details to roll out by 2024. To celebrate the SU7 launch, limited edition Aqua Blue and Verdant Green Xiaomi 14 phones and Xiaomi Watch S3 hit the Chinese market today.
