The September 2024 Librarian board exam results, including the full list of passers, top 10 (topnotchers), top-performing school, and performance of schools, are expected to be released on September 11-16 or 0-3 working days after the exam. You can find them on this page.
The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) conducted the Librarian licensure exam (LLE) on September 10 and 11 in the cities of Manila, Davao, Legazpi, Lucena, and Rosales.
The members of the Board for Librarians who gave the licensure examination are Hon. Yolanda C. Granda, Chairman, and Hon. Lourdes T. David, Member.
As announced: 376 out of 771 passed the Librarians Computer-Based Licensure Examination.

Registration and Oathtaking
- Registration for your Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will be done online at www.prc.gov.ph. Follow the instructions for initial registration. We'll announce the registration date soon (TBA).
- When registering, you'll need:
- Downloaded and completed Oath Form
- Notice of admission (for identification only)
- Two passport-sized colored pictures with white background and your name tag
- Two sets of documentary stamps
- One short brown envelope
- Once you pass the exam, you must personally register and sign the Roster of Registered Professionals.
- The date and venue for the oathtaking ceremony will be announced later.
Verification of Ratings
- You can verify your result (passed, failed, or removed) online through PRC's "Verification of Rating" service in a few working days after the official results are released.
Examination Coverage
- The two-day Librarian board exam covers the following subjects:
- Day 1: Library organization and management, reference, bibliography, and user services, indexing and abstracting
- Day 2: Cataloging and classification, selection and acquisition, and information technology
Release of Results
- The target release date for the September 2024 Librarian board exam results is Monday, September 16th (three working days after the exam). However, results may be released earlier or later without notice. With the computer-based exams, faster release is expected.
Previous Exam Results (For Reference)
- September 2023: Results released in 3 days, 555 passers out of 886, Zamylle Ross Belaro Celso (UE Manila) topped with 88.85%, UP Diliman had a 100% passing rate.
- September 2022: Results released in 3 days, 250 passers out of 634, Marzo Meco Bagayaua Alfonso (UP Diliman) topped with 88.20%, UP Diliman had a 100% passing rate.
- September 2021: Results released in 2 days, 113 passers out of 237, Francisco Fillon Magpantay Jr. (UP Diliman) topped with 90.50%, UP Diliman, Saint Paul University-Surigao, Adventist University of the Philippines, and University of Mindanao-Davao City all had 100% passing rates.
- Pre-pandemic (September 2019): Results released in 3 days, 565 passers out of 1,024, Daniel Soriano Balbin Jr. (Benguet State University) topped with 89.75%, UP Diliman had a 100% passing rate (36 examinees).
