City of San Fernando, Pampanga (Oct. 15, 2024) – The suspects in the brutal killing of successful online sellers Arvin and Lerma Lulu were presented to the media at the Police Regional Office-Central Luzon (PRO-3) in Camp Olivas on Tuesday.
The Lulus were gunned down inside their vehicle in Santo Rosario, Mexico town on October 4. Seven individuals, including the alleged mastermind, were arrested in connection with the crime.
PRO-3 Director Brig. Gen. Redrico Maranan identified the suspects as Anthony Limon, Arnold Taylan, Arnel Buan, Robert Dimaliwat, Rolando Cruz, Jomie Anandiben, and Sancho Nieto.
Taylan, believed to be the gunman, and Buan, who acted as the backrider, were apprehended in Nueva Ecija. Their arrest led authorities to the other suspects, including Limon, the alleged mastermind of the heinous crime.
The motive behind the killing remains under investigation. However, authorities suspect that robbery could be a factor, given the success of the Lulus' online businesses.
The presentation of the suspects comes as a relief to the families of the victims, who have been seeking justice for the senseless murder of their loved ones.
As the investigation continues, authorities are committed to bringing all those involved in the crime to justice.
