The Varsitarian, the University of Santo Tomas' official student publication, is hosting the 10th annual UST National Campus Journalism Awards (UNCJA). This prestigious competition recognizes outstanding student journalism in three categories: in-depth reporting, editorial writing, and feature writing.
Showcase your work!
We invite entries tackling various issues, from those affecting your campus community to local and national concerns. Just ensure your piece clearly explains its relevance to students. Entries must be published online or in print between March 4, 2024, and the extended deadline of December 7, 2024.
Submission Guidelines:
- Print articles: Submit in PDF format.
- Online articles: Take a screenshot and convert it to PDF.
- Submit entries through bit.ly/10THUNCJA by December 10th (previously November 18th).
- Each publication can submit a maximum of three entries per category.
Recognition and Prizes:
Winning entries will receive a cash prize of P20,000 and a certificate. Winners will be announced during the 26th Inkblots, The Varsitarian's annual gathering of Filipino campus journalists, held in January 2025.
