The Boston Celtics continued their dominant start to the NBA season, edging out the Milwaukee Bucks 111-105 in a tightly contested matchup. Jayson Tatum led the way for the Celtics with 34 points, 10 rebounds, and 5 assists. Jrue Holiday contributed 20 points, while Sam Hauser chipped in with 16 off the bench.
The game was a back-and-forth affair with 14 lead changes and neither team leading by more than eight points. The Celtics pulled away late, with Al Horford hitting a crucial three-pointer and Jrue Holiday converting a floater to seal the victory.
"This was a tough win," said Tatum. "We didn't shoot the ball as well as we wanted to, especially in the first half. But we just had to find a way. Second half we hit some shots, but we really picked it up on the defensive end and everybody played a part."
For the Bucks, Damian Lillard and Giannis Antetokounmpo both scored 30 points, but it wasn't enough to prevent their 11th loss of the season.
In other NBA action, the Philadelphia 76ers defeated the Orlando Magic 102-94. Paul George returned from injury to score 21 points and dish out 9 assists. K.J. Martin was a key contributor off the bench for the 76ers, scoring 20 points on 9-of-10 shooting.
The Indiana Pacers edged out the Chicago Bulls 132-123. Tyrese Haliburton led the Pacers with 23 points, while Pascal Siakam added 21. Zach LaVine led the Bulls with 32 points, but it wasn't enough to prevent their 10th loss of the season.
