MANILA, Philippines – The National Police Commission (NAPOLCOM) is set to release the results of the Philippine National Police (PNP) entrance exam, also known as the qualifying examination for Patrolman, between January and February 2025. The exam, which took place on November 24, 2024, saw 37,705 hopefuls vying for a spot in the police force.
This examination serves as the gateway for those aspiring to join the PNP at the entry-level ranks of Patrolman and Patrolwoman. In addition to the entrance exam, NAPOLCOM also conducted promotional tests for 8,538 existing police personnel across various ranks, from Police Corporal to Police Lieutenant Colonel.

The PNP entrance exam assesses candidates on their knowledge and aptitude in the following areas:

Historical Release Timeline:
Based on previous NAPOLCOM exam cycles, results are typically released within two to four months after the exam date:
- June 2024: Results released 2 months after the exam, with a 26.23% passing rate.
- December 2023: Results released almost 3 months after the exam, with a 28.76% passing rate.
- June 2023: Results released 3 months after the exam, with a 20.21% passing rate.
- December 2022: Results released 4 months after the exam, with a 34.60% passing rate.
Where to Find the Results:
The nationwide list of passers for both the entrance and promotional exams will be posted at the NAPOLCOM One-Stop-Shop (NOSS) in Quezon City. Regional lists will also be available at the respective NAPOLCOM regional offices.
To ensure efficient delivery, successful examinees will receive their Certificates of Eligibility (CoE) by mail. Unsuccessful examinees will receive their Reports of Rating via the same method.
