Rain or Shine took a huge lead before finishing the game 112-108 victory against Alaska on Wednesday, May 11,2016 at the Smart Araneta Colesium.
Aces became more aggressive as they confidently down the lead to five points on the third quarter 110-105, after a three-point play by Rob Dozier with exactly 15 seconds.
Fortunately Rain or Shine established a big enough lead to hold on Alaska from leading the third quarter. Rain or Shine took a 95-68 lead at 1:54 mark of the third quarter and they were still comfortably ahead by 20, 100-80, with under seven minutes left.
The Aces already looked like disperated after the third quarter where they were buried from the three points shot by Painters and fell behind by 23 points 95-72. Jericho Cruz score 17 points, JR Quinahan shot 4 of 5 from downtown en route. The Aces have now lost seventh straight games in the Finals.
