Israel Aerospace Industries(IAI) is introducing combat robot with a wide variety of applications.The machine called RoBattle, was designed for modern ground combat, RoBattle is built to operate independently or to support manned formations with the most dangerous and extreme tasks.
RoBattle weighs only 50kg, and includes a set of high sensitivity sensors enabling to operate day and night under limited visibility conditions. It has a modular design which the company can swap in parts depending on what a particular mission needs.
Other mission kit include the black granite sensor sets, mapping (imaging sensors, radar, and COMINT), it can detect explosive charges from distance, manipulator arms handling such explosives.
RoBattle will make its debut at the Eurosatory exhibition in France next week.
