Stephen Curry may not play Game 7, throwing mouthpiece to fan

Stephen Curry ended in a stunning bit of history: the first ejection of the back-to-back NBA Most Valuable Player's professional career, and the first ejection in a Finals game - throwing his mouthpiece into the stands, hitting a fan sitting at the court side. The move didn't injure anyone, but that small fact didn't stop fans from starting to worry if the NBA would feel compelled to suspend Curry during the do-or-die Game 7.

The NBA will conduct a thorough investigation with Curry's behavior on Game 6, to determine if a fine or a suspension is warranted.

In October 2015, Clippers guard Austin Rivers was fined $25,000 for throwing seat cushion into the stands and hitting a fan. In December 2014, Utah's Enes Kanter was fined $25,000 for throwing his mouthpiece into the stands.

But also both Haslem and Reggie Miller was given 1 game suspension for throwing their mouthpiece towards the refs. Now the question is if Curry throw it towards the referee? Based on history, it isn't difficult to conclude that,  Curry will likely receive at the minimum $25,000 fine.
