Everyone was shocked when The Voice singer Christina Grimmie was shot during his performance in Florida, Friday night.
The 22-year-old singer is reportedly signing autograph when a gunman opened fire. The gunman fatally shot himself after Grimmie's brother tackled him, according to the report. "Her brother is a hero for saving and stopping him from not hurting anyone else," Ford said.
The singer had performed at the Plaza Live Theater Friday night, along with the band Before You Exit, when the shooting incident happened. She was rushed to the hospital in critical condition and later announced dead.
Around 100 people attended the concert. Authorities is now investigating the incident on how the suspect had managed to enter the venue with the firearms.
