University of Antique's Largest Human formation of an Anchor set Guinness World Record

In celebration of the school's 62nd foundation day and as a way of to honor the country's many seafarers, Filipino maritime organization Angkla Party-List and University of Antique recently set a record for the the largest human image of an anchor.

Taking place at the University of Antique in Siba-Lom Philippines, the spectacular image involved a staggering 6,000 participants, which included maritime students at the University as well as members of the public.

The additional participants making up the "Angkla" sign were not counted in the total.

All participants wore clothes of matching colour to ensure that they created a block image, as required by the Guiness World Record's guidelines.
