Duterte masks is making rounds online as Halloween is fast approaching. The team behind Duterte's masks said the masks were selling quicker than his previous Halloween best sellers, Manny Pacquiao and Game of Thrones character Tyrion Lannister.
"Seeing the popularity of the president, it doesn't matter if you're for or against him, he's popularity and you cannot talk about him," Tan said in Reuters.
Tan has sold more than 400 of the masks at 700 pesos($15) each in the first week of online sales. He said he expect to make 800 masks before Halloween.
Tan is an industrial engineer who teaches art at the University of the Philippines in Manila, uses a mold pressing machine to create the masks and spends an hour painting each one by one.

Tan clarified that producing masks is just a hobby, despite putting a more portable, desktop version of the mask-making machine called Vaquform and placed it on Kickstarter.
