Chinese firm develops super fastest maglev train with 600km/hr top speed

China firm is now starting to develop 600km/hr magnetic levitation (maglev) train, this will be the fastest maglev train if the firm will succeed.

An article by China Daily said that CRRC Corp. Ltf., China's largest rail transportation equipment maker, is said to build a maglev rail line no less than 5 km long to test the train.

The company will also develop maglev trains at 200 km/h, with the goal of establishing domestic technology and standard systems for new-generation medium-and high-speed maglev transportation that can be applied globally, said CRRC official.

The firm also developing a cross-border high-speed trains that can run 400 km/hour and alternate between different track gauges ranging from 60cm to 1.676 meters.

These magnetic levitation is a transport method that uses magnetic levitation to move without making contact with the ground.

At the moment Japan has recorded the fastest train in the world at 603 kph(373 mph). At it's fastest, the train covered a mile in 10 seconds, which is insanely fast. The train will be able to carry just over 900 passengers per trip as it levitates above the tracks electromagnets to create a friction less ride.

Right now, the train is still only a prototype as Japan Railways is still testing this model. We will wait until 2027 for it to be put as commercial transport.
