Fil-Am Angelica Hale gets Golden Buzzer at America's Got Talent

Filipino-American Angelica Hale, 9 year-old received a golden buzzer in "America's Got Talent" aired on Tuesday. The 9-year old Hale impressed judges for the second time singing a cover of Alicia Keys' "Girl on Fire." Without hesitation, guest judge Chris Hardwick slammed the show's Golden Buzzer, sending Hale to the next round.

"You open your mouth and it's like 'How do those pipes fit in that tiny little body?" Hardwick said of Hale's performance."I just feel like, Angelica, you are the chosen one!"

Hale suffered from Sepsis in 2012 which led to her contracting double pneumonia. A year later, her Filipino mother, Eva Bolando, decided to donate her own kidney to save her child's life, local news site WXIA-TV reported.
