PH order more warships from Indonesia

After the successful delivery of two warship ordered by the Philippine government BRP TARLAC 601 and DAVAO DEL SUR 602 , state-owned builder PT PAL Indonesia has announced that the Department of Defense of the Philippines has ordered an additional two SSV, one SSV hospital ship and two 60-meter long missile-armed ships (KCR-60), report at thejakartapost.com.

Indonesian shipyard PT PAL launched the third and final KCR-60 Fast Attack Missile Craft for the Indonesian Navy (TNI AL). The first KCR-60 have already been handed over to the Indonesian Navy on 28th June and was given the name KRI Sampari.

President-Director Budiman Saleh added that Nigeria had ordered one SSV ship, Senegal had ordered one LPD ship, two KCR-35 meter ships and three KCR-60 meter ships, while Guyana Bissau and Gabon respectively ordered KCR-60 ships.
