World's oldest woman found in Kabankalan City celebrates 120th birthday

Lola Francisca Susano, whose birth certificate states she was born on September 11, 1897, celebrated her birthday with her family. An Ilongga from Brgy. Oringao, Kabankalan City, Negros Occidental who claims to be the oldest woman ever to have lived has celebrated his 120th birthday.
       
 The Guinness World Records confirmed in May that Emma  Morano of Verbania, Italy is the oldest living person at the age of 116. She was born on Nov. 29, 1899.



Susano have been married at the age of 14, and bore the first child at 17. Her eldest daughter is now 100 years old. Susano had 14 children, gut only eight of them are still living. She also has 70 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. 

Susano is a farmer, said her secret for a longer life is eating fresh vegetables without any additives and music. Despite her age she still cook and plays flute as her pastime.

Aside from the P100,000 that she get from the Province of Negros, she will also receiving an additional P100,000 from the National government.
