At her very young age she showed her dedication to finish her homework despite of difficulty in life. Recently the video of a homeless young girl Elaine has gone viral, she was seen outside an apartment block in Manila with her mother and sister.
This touching moment was filmed by a concerned netizen seeing the eight-year-old Elaine Dolfo struggling to complete her homework, as she pulled a coat over her head to shelter herself and books from the rain.
This harsh weather doesn't stop the child to finish her homework, she told the passer-by, Rolando Villanueva, she wants to be top of her class and get a good job to help her family.
Her father is a tricycle driver but he was taken ill and been unable to work. The landlord kicked the family out of their home a few days before the video has gone viral, as they could not pay the rent.
As of the 2016 national statistic record, there were a total of 101.57 million Filipinos and over a quarter of the population (25.2%) live below the poverty line.
