No additional details had been revealed by the Davao City Aids Council (DCAC) due to confidentiality, but, based on the record, there are at least seven minors have been infected with HIV since January 1984.
Authorities were alarmed on the increase of numbers of HIV victims especially on that very young age. Davao City alone, there have been a total of 2,525 HIV reported cases of which 132 are females and 2,393 are males.
